The Committee vote on whether to favorably report the nomination of Governor Sonny Perdue to be the next US Secretary of Agriculture has been delayed.
Chairman of the Senate Ag Committee Pat Roberts announced the committee will now hold its business meeting on Thursday to cast its vote – it was originally scheduled for Wednesday.
The vote is schedule to happen immediate following the first floor vote in the Senate.
