The Michigan Department of Agriculture has announced new investment grants to expand dairy processing and help poultry producers become cage-free.
Continental Dairy Faculties and Fairlife were awarded $225,000 for their shared dairy processing site in Coopersville to expand operations and production lines. Fairlife plans to add a third packaging line for Fairlife milk, Core Power and Yup brands. Continental Dairy will expand butter and buttermilk powder production. The companies are investing $173 million in the project.
