Mark Sigler is the chief operating officer and treasurer for Indiana Farm Bureau, a position he has held since 1994. In that position, he oversees the organization’s staff and budget, as well as the general operation of INFB’s headquarters.
He first came to Farm Bureau in 1987 as a marketing assistant. He later became director of the organization department (now the organizational development team) before being appointed to his current position.
Sigler has a bachelor’s degree in agriculture education from Purdue University and a master’s in adult and community education from Ball State University. With his brothers and sisters, he is the owner of Sigler Farms Inc., a small farm where they raise corn and soybeans and maintain pasture.
Prior to being hired at Farm Bureau he was with the Purdue Cooperative Extension Service, acting as 4-H extension educator in Elkhart County and agriculture extension educator in Rush County. He also worked for Farm Credit Services in Henry and Rush counties.
He is a member of Frankton Methodist Church, where he is the finance chair. He also has been involved for many years with the Indiana State Fair, and is currently an announcer for state fair swine shows.
He and his wife, DeeDee, live in Frankton and have two children and six grandchildren.
