The American Farm Bureau Federation's Young Farmers & Ranchers Leadership Conference brings together members to learn, share and grow together to build a stronger Farm Bureau organization. The opportunities at the conference include networking with peers, industry leaders and subject matter experts from around the country.
Attendees benefit from inspiring general sessions and in-depth workshops and by sharing ideas with other young leaders while they train, learn and prepare to engage with those not directly involved with agriculture. Young farmers and ag professionals leave motivated and to ready apply the real-world knowledge and skills they have gained at the conference on their farms and business and in their schools, careers, local Farm Bureaus and communities.
“I had the opportunity to attend the 2018 National Farm Bureau Young Farmer and Rancher Conference in Reno, Nevada. I had a great experience networking with young farmers from around the country, learning about their stories and farming practices. While attending the conference, I sat in on several breakout sessions educating attendees about several important topics facing American agriculture and family farms today. Also, I had fun creating many great memories with amazing friends from Huntington and Purdue University and the Indiana State Young Farmer Committee. For my first time being that far west, I will definitely go back to see more! A special thanks to Indiana Farm Bureau for letting me be a part of this great learning opportunity.”
