Vince and Amie Osborn are the District 4 representatives to the Young Farmers & Ag Professionals State Committee. They live in Miami County with their daughters, Izabelle and Kiah.
Vince earned a BS in Animal Science from Purdue University and currently works as a US sales representative at GenePro. Amie earned a BS in Agricultural Business from California State University, Chico and an MS in Agricultural Economics from Purdue University. She currently works as a commercial & agricultural lender at First Farmers Bank & Trust.
The Osborns joined the state committee because they felt it was the right time to give back and contribute to an organization committed to advocacy, education, and networking to advance the agricultural industry. Vince and Amie's advice to someone who is considering getting involved in YF&AP is:
“Find one area of interest and get involved there. Whether it is attending a local meeting, volunteering at the county fair, or meeting your elected officials, your first step can open doors to more opportunities. Focus on one thing at a time, and as you grow more comfortable and confident, gradually expand your involvement. We think this approach allows you to make meaningful contributions while managing your commitments effectively.”
Vince and Amie represent members in Adams, Blackford, Grant, Howard, Huntington, Jay, Miami, Tipton, Wabash and Wells counties.
